WinnBos.

It was just as excciting as flying to Atlanta last november, seeing some old guys (Ladd, Buff.) Not only is it officially my game of the season to always go to now but it was an actual really good game. I mean it put us on the edge of our seats right off the bat with them getting a lead on us but both teams played a good strong game. So happy i got to be there for it, it was weird everyone just kept talkking about buff being back and stuff but to me i was like umm hello ladd left and took over a team? Did we forget he was one of my favorite players, yet another player i called in his success, i swear people should listen to me more just like the organization should really give me tickets to the whole season, on account they win all the games i'm at...am i right? of course i am.
Much like tonights game against Boston, the boys looked really GOOD, i was extremley pleased with how they played. Never been a fan of the shootout determining the game, i can't say they aren't exciting and nail bitting but i like it as an entertainment thing not to determine who gets the extra point. Nothing is like an original six match up i feel as if we should play them more throughout the season, but who am i to say.

Can't wait for next saturday, we play the Av's at home and the Hull/Kita staues will be reveiled, Oh man exciting!
Found out i get free NHL for the month of october yesterday, WHAT and noone told me!? Now i can watch hockey all day everyday, thank you coworkers! Really can it get better than that?

That's all folks. Far well for now.

Random.

Man in the last couple of days a lot has gone on, well i think. ESPN's Sarah Spain wrote an article about Chicago female fans giving other sports areas a run for their money because we mean buisness, which we do! Anyways she mentioned me in it which was cool i told her a cool story of my die hardness and she mentioned it a little, unfortunatley some girl had sent a picture of her shrine in so she got more of the spotlight but hey fellow hawks lover i could care less as long as shes a real fan of the game, right and her shrine is just as amazing as mine so it's like how could i be mad she is awesome! I have the link posted her so you can check it out, pretty amazing.

Today the two patricks went to a downtown Qdoba to film a commercial for blackhawks tv, so i figured hey i live downtown why not go check it out right? Well i did, it was pretty cool and fun to see and say hey i was at that, but i mean to many puck bunny type girls there, not fun. Didn't get a free burrito but it's okay i'm fine with it although we were rather hungry, no big deal. haha but now it was a fun situation and intresting to watch and see how big these guys really are down here, they are literally treated like celebrities and it's insane, i love it, they deserve it!

Ahh, tomorrow is game 3 for the boys against Winnipeg and i am proud to say i will be rockin in the madhouse tomorrow. Get to see not only my boys but my boys from Winni too, Ladd, thank goodness!
Thought i'd do a little update there will be great hockey stories tomorrow after the game, so be alert the one of you that read this. Ta-Ta for now.

First Game at the Madhouse 11'-12'

Tonight is what THEY do! 5-2 win over Dallas, Hawks outshoot 31-21. They still have improvements on little things (penalty kill, just want it to be the same rockstarness as before) but tonight was a good win they needed to get that. Now they got the 4 day game break until the face Winnipeg at home! (Time for a new Program/Magazine too)

Crawford again did good, as little action that he had, he was tested and for the most part did steller. I mean the first goal was a bad angle top shelf goal and the 2nd was a crazy redirect in front of the net after that HARDcore blocked shot Kruger took from Surray, Intense!
Burish definatley seems to be over the friendly nice guy to us on the ice, i know he can't be all buddy buddy just cause we won a cup with him. I get it he's on another team has to do what it takes for them but i felt he was very wanting to start it with everyone tonight it was some crazyness. Like the fight that arose from him with Mayers/Dowell, i mean i don't want to see dowell fighting ahh, it's so hard for me to get over some players, with Dowell i don't know if it's the article i read about him last season just got me and made me live him more. But it was a good clean fight so that's good!
Nothing was greater then the breakaway goal by Toews, right out of the penalty box, the best ones by far.

How different is this team when Bolland is back. He really has that "rat" impact on our bench and i love it, him and Carcillo are going to make a good under the skin couple. If you can't beat join em, right Carbomb? ha. Nothing ended the game more wildley then first sharp going from a 2 minute minor, to adding on the 10 minute misconduct? Sharpie with a tude, crazy? and of coure with the Rat(with frolik) finishing the Stars off with the empty netter.
It was a great game they played tonight and something that we want to see more of!

Little fun fact that happened today: The first hattrick of the season, Phil Kesell of Toronto. That'll show you to pick him last again for the All-Star game, haha.

October 22nd the Unveiling of the Hull/Mikita Statue, get excited, these men are well deserving of this can't wait!

For Laughss.

Now predictions to me really mean nothing this early on in the season so really what my "predictions" i am going to make now are more or less who i want in the playoffs this year and who i think really has the good shot of it so just for laughs i'm going to do it...in no particular order, come on now, way to soon.

Eastern
Buffalo
Tampa Bay

Winnipeg
Washington
Pittsburg
Montreal
Boston
New York (R)

Western
Chicago
LA
San Jose
Nashville
Colorado
Detroit
Anaheim
Vancouver

Now this will probablly change in a week on account i had a hard time just doing this now cause there are so many potentials i think this season so i'll wait a little longer and make a better educated guess.

Not how i would want.

Well, so there it was...
They lost game one. It crazy, i mean we have what it takes there looking good, it's just not their night tonight. They just needed a good ol' start in the Madhouse. Leddy made it intresting, right, 13 seconds left on the clock you had that excited hope they may come out and tie it up. I hate to say we out-shot 38-33 because the score didn't show that but at least we are shooting.
How bout that hit Benn layed on Hjalmersson, dannnng, that kid broke the glass, that could have been no bueno for our little swedish man!
They just gotta get home get pumped becasue Game 1 in the Madhouse has yet to come. They got the studdly (corny) red carpet event tomorrow and it's game timeee they get to start from scratch with this guy's and show them whose house they are in.

As for around the league it doesn't get harder than this...

watching the Bruins banner ceremony. To thin kit was us the beggining of last season (we lost) but still man! I mean i have to say i think they deserve it, i personally like Boston and honestly thought they were going to be the team that played the Hawks last season in the cup i knew they had one coming sometime soon. Congrats Bruins but once that ceremony hits man let the real challenge begin, The repeat!
See you in the enddddd!

Until then, I bid you farwelll!

You ready to rock

Well they went 2-1-4 in preseason, luckily i was able to go to the Washington one (why they won.) They should really give me season tickets to be there, they always win, i can't help it. All i can say is thank god it's over and we are moving forward to regular season, 4 days in counting.(which means 10 until Winnipeg is in town, whose excited? This Chikaa)
Now they can at least start just focusing on the game. I mean they made it official today Salak will go to Rockford and Emery will be the backup for Crawford, hopefully this means Emery can focus on his game now and impress us beyind what we could imagine when we need him, he's got what it takes.

Ahhh, what else is going around elsewhere, oh yes how could i forget Mr. Crosby was placed on IR for the begining of the season...right. Now i'm not one to judge how hurt someone is or what happened to them, but what happened to him? Now maybe he has really extreme symptoms, i don't know? Like yeah a concussion, i get it, but was is something more than that? I mean he's been out a good amount of time now. When people talked career ending i honestly didn't get it i saw all the hits he took last year and i just didn't see it. I just want to know what's truley and really going on, please tell me!! Milking it? i don't know in any event he's out for at least the first 7 games, tear.

Oh yes, how could i forget, more suspension hearings of course. Man Shanahan is going to be a busy man this season with this rule change in fact by the next time i post there will most likely be another hearing of some sort.
Well the days of off season are officially coming to an end and people are getting ready to start counting points, watching their fantasy hockey teams, pulling the jerseys out and getting ready for some goal music(Chelsea Dagger.) So let's get pumped for there are only 3 days left till it all begins.

Get ready boys and girls, it's here!!
